Hi folks,
One of my favourite things about Retro Rides is the international nature of it. Whilst we're not the world's biggest forum, we've managed to pull in people from all corners of the world. Car enthusiasts exist the world over, even back in 2007 we had hajsaftar popping in from Iran with car show reports (sadly the images have all been lost when the host site went down). It was great to see Tofucharade pop up from China with their first project showing once again how worldwide our love for older (style) cars is.
With that in mind, it is worth keeping an eye on New Zealand and Australia. Not only are they under less restrictions than us at the moment, but they are also in their summer, which means car show season. Time I think to delve into Instagram and other photo archives to see what is shaking out there, so we can live vicariously.
If you enjoy this email please click the thumbs up below, we're trying to learn and improve. If you don't like it, there is a thumbs down too.
We also have a share to a friend button as well, if you think any of the stories may interest someone you know.
OH! and we have a newsletter archive now too so you can see what was in older ones, it is all go!
Keep safe everyone, there is light at the end of this tunnel (and it doesn't seem to be an oncoming train). Really need to start thinking about actually finishing some projects to get them out to shows!
